1. Who we are

Kelory is operated by [Legal Entity Name], based in [City, India]. For any privacy question or request, contact support@kelory.in. This address also serves as our grievance contact under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act.

2. The short version

• The food and nutrition content you log (photos, descriptions, meals, weight, water, sleep, workouts) is processed — including by third-party AI providers — to identify food and generate your coaching.
• We do not send your account contact details (name, email, phone) to those AI providers. They receive only the content needed to do the task.
• You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time.
• We don’t sell your personal data.

3. Information we collect

You give us

• Account details: name, email, and/or phone number used to sign in.
• Profile & goals: age, sex, height, weight, targets, activity level, dietary preferences, allergies, and region.
• Logged content: food photos and text, identified meals, macros and micronutrients, water and sleep entries, workouts, weight and body measurements, and optional progress photos.

Collected automatically

• Usage analytics (which features are used) to improve the product. This carries no food names or message contents.
• Diagnostics / crash logs to find and fix bugs.
• Basic device and app-version information.

4. How AI processing works

Identifying a dish from a photo and generating coaching is done with third-party AI providers (for example, Google’s Gemini models). When we call them, we send only the content required for that task — such as the food photo or the text you typed — not your name, email, or phone number. Estimates returned by AI can be wrong; they are guidance, not measurements, and never medical advice.

5. Why we use your data (legal bases)

• To provide the service you asked for (logging, coaching, tracking) — performance of a contract / your consent.
• To improve and secure the product (aggregate analytics, diagnostics, fraud/abuse prevention) — our legitimate interests.
• To communicate with you about the service — consent or legitimate interest.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time (this doesn’t affect processing already carried out).

6. Who we share data with

We share limited data with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, only to run Kelory:

• Cloud hosting, database, and file storage providers.
• AI model providers (for food identification and coaching, as above).
• Push-notification, analytics, and error-monitoring providers.

Some of these providers may process data outside India. Where that happens, we take steps intended to keep your data protected to a comparable standard. We do not sell your personal data or share it for third-party advertising.

7. Your rights & choices

• Access a copy of your data and correct anything inaccurate.
• Delete your account and associated data — to request deletion, contact us at support@kelory.in.
• Export your data (portability).
• Withdraw consent, or object to certain processing.
• Raise a grievance with us at support@kelory.in.

8. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect it and to limit who can access it.

10. Children

Kelory is not intended for children. You must meet the minimum age in our Terms to use it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We’ll change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
